Liebe Musiker,

wir haben eine Umfrage bei Veranstaltern durchgeführt, um herauszufinden, was für sie die ausschlaggebenden Buchungskriterien sind. Beim Auswerten der Ergebnisse fiel uns auf, dass sowohl „Gelegenheits-Veranstalter“ (Privatleute, Firmen, Eventagenturen, Lokale mit Live-Event-Reihen) als auch professionelle Veranstalter (Konzerthäuser, Festivalleiter, Konzertagenturen)  großen Wert auf Referenzen und vor allem persönliche Empfehlungen legen.  Das spiegelte sich auch in fast allen telefonischen Anfragen wider.

Veranstalter wünschen sich Sicherheit durch eine Art "Zertifizierung".

Aus diesem Grund haben wir das Leondra Zertifikat ins Leben gerufen.

Das Leondra-Zertifikat soll euch helfen, von interessierten Bookern und Veranstaltern richtig eingestuft zu werden und den Veranstaltern zeigen, dass sie bei euch keine Bedenken bzgl. Qualität haben müssen und euch buchen können, auch wenn ihr noch „unbekannt“ (für den Veranstalter) seid.

Im Rahmen der Leondra-Audition werden neben eurem musikalischen Talent auch eure Performance und euer Repertoire von einer Jury bewertet, und zwar nach dem Aspekt, für welche Art von Veranstaltungen ihr als Live-Act geeignet seid bzw. für welche ihr buchbar sein wollt.

Diese Einstufung soll Veranstaltern einen Hinweis geben, was sie von euch erwarten können. Solche Empfehlungen und eine große Fangemeinde sind für viele wichtig und räumen letzte Zweifel aus.

Keine Sorge – die Leondra Auditions werden nicht wie ein gestelztes Casting ablaufen, sondern im Rahmen öffentlicher Auftritte oder Konzerte mit Publikum stattfinden.

Die Kosten für das Leondra-Zertifikat betragen 50,-€. Das ist der Unkostenbeitrag für die Jury, die im Publikum sitzen wird.

Die ersten Zertifikate sind online und haben direkt auch schon zu Jobs geführt. Weitere Auditions werden im Herbst 2012 stattfinden. Freie Slots sind derzeit noch am 7. September, 12. Oktober und 9. November zu haben.

Wer Interesse daran hat, sich an einem dieser Termine zertifizieren zu lassen, meldet sich bis spätestens 4 Wochen vor Wunschtermin, damit wir planen können.

Dear musicians,

we carried out a survey among event organizers to find out what are the decisive criteria for a booking for them. In interpreting the results, we noticed that "casual organizers" (individuals, companies, event agencies, locations woth live music) as well as professional organizers (concert halls, festival organizers, booking agencies)  put great emphasis on references and personal recommendations.

This was also reflected in almost all telephone inquiries. Organizers want some guarantee through a kind of "certification". That's why we initiated the Leondra certificate.

The Leondra Certificate should help you to raise the interest of bookers and organizers and show them your qualification, even if they don't know you in person.

As part of a Leondra audition, your musical talent and your performance as well as your repertoire will be evaluated and categorized by a jury; namely under the aspect, which occasion and event fits to you and your music.

This classifying should provide an indication, what organizers can expect from you. Such recommendations and a big fan base are requested by many organizers and can clear up final doubts.

Don't worry - Leondra auditions will not pass off like a stilted casting, but take place through public gigs or concerts with audience. 

The cost of the Leondra Certificate will be 50,- Euros. This is the fee for the jury, which will sit in the audience.

The first Certificates are online and resulted in jobs directly. Further auditions will take place in autumn 2012. Slots are available on 7^th September, 12^th October and 9^th November.
